Good Evening Sharks, this is Principal Smith with your Weekly Update. Thank you for a fantastic WASC visit on Friday. Thank you to the parents who attended the Parent Meeting; we had a great turn-out!

Students who are need of credit recovery courses have been given Summer Term applications for their resident high school based on their home address. Signed applications must be returned to Ms. Torres no later than this Thursday, April 21st. DPMHS is not a Summer Term site this year. Students can attend any LAUSD high school hosting Summer Term.

Seniors: All prom, Senior Packet, and Grad Night payments are due by Friday, the 29th of April!

On Wednesday, April 20th there is a fundraiser at Pizza Rev at 5608 Van Nuys Blvd.

The Math Department is hosting a Math Contest, April 22nd. See your Math teacher to sign-up.

Looking ahead, Smarter Balance Testing, SBAC, for all 11th grade students starts Monday, April 25th.

Sparkle Saturday has been calendared for May 7th! Help us spruce up our school!

And last but not least, I want to welcome Mr. Mike Hinson as our new Plant Manager! He will be starting this coming Friday, April 22nd! Help make him feel welcome!
