We offer many types of opportunities for student success, from the academic to the extra-curricular.

Academics

As a comprehensive high school, we offer all courses necessary to graduate and meet the A-G requirements. And true to our namesake Daniel Pearl, we have thriving Journalism and Music programs.

Athletics

Our students are able to participate in all of the athletic programs at Birmingham Community Charter High School, known for their many quality sports teams.

Guidance and Counseling

Our Guidance and Counseling staff can help your student determine their next steps, regardless of where they’re at in their high school career.

Library

Access to information has never been greater. But how do we find the right information, and what do we do with it when we have it? Our dedicated Teacher Librarian works with students in the classroom and in our library to answer those questions. We also have regular book fairs and author visits.

Publications

Our school produces two publications: the award-winning Pearl Post student newspaper and the student-produced Prestige Yearbook.

Resource/Special Education

Our resource students are fully integrated into the larger school community and have enjoyed great success with us.
