Weekly Update
Good Afternoon Sharks, this is Principal Smith with your Weekly Update. Tomorrow, Monday, May 29th, is a holiday and there is no school. Classes resume on Tuesday, May 30th. Thank you to Mr. Hambright and his talented musicians and emcees of the evening for the spring concert! You all were amazing! Also, thank you to PNN crew and sound crew for your live stream of the concert and for excellent management of the sound board! Thank you to all of the parents, faculty, and students who were in attendance and showed your support of our students.
Prom is tonight at the Sportman’s Lodge and I know everyone is going to be dressed in their finest and have a grand time!
Tuesday, May 30: SBAC Testing continues for all 11th graders.
Wednesday, May 31: SBAC Testing continues for all 11th graders.
Thursday, June 1: The Student Council election/voting will take place during Period 1 in classes for 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students. The David Labkovsky Art Exhibit is open from 6:30pm - 8:30pm in the MPR, with Mr. Abelson’s World History students serving as docents. This is a free event for all.
Looking ahead: Finals week begins Monday, June 5th. Each day of Finals Week will be minimum days with dismissal at 12:27pm. Graduation is on Friday, June 9th at 5:00pm at Mulholland Middle School in the quad. All seniors will get 6 tickets for confirmed seats, and there will be standing room for additional guests.
