Congratulations to Rebekah Spector, Class of 2017 Valedictorian!

5 Week Progress Reports will be given to students on Monday to bring home. Please sign your student’s progress report and have them return it to their Period 1 teacher!

The school website has a school calendar of upcoming events. Please check it regularly to stay informed of school events. If something is missing, feel free to call the school to get it updated!

Parents, remember to use your Jupiter account to monitor your student’s progress in all classes! If you need help using Jupiter, just call the school and we’d be happy to help!

The School Report Card Parent Survey is due at Daniel Pearl no later than February 16th! You can go online to http://achieve.lausd.net/Page/8397 to complete it online!

Tuesday, Feb. 13th is a Regular Day with dismissal at 3:02pm. Also, Tuesday morning at 8:15am, the Parent Center is hosting a workshop, “Understanding Graduation A-G”. All parents are welcome to attend.

Looking ahead: Monday, Feb. 20 is a school holiday for President’s Day. Thursday, February 23rd is the School Site Council Meeting, at 5:30pm in the library.
On Friday, Feb. 24th, we are having an extended Fiesta Friday for a community event, “Ice Cream with a Cop”, LA School Police, Chief Zipperman, City Attorney Jackie Lawson and members of the Lake Balboa Neighborhood Council will be here to serve ice cream to all of our students! DPMHS was selected as a thank you for hosting the local LASPD Explorers program.

Seniors: the FAFSA is due March 2nd! Get yours done today!
