Good Evening Sharks, This is Principal Smith with your Weekly update. Congratulations Class of 2016 ~ you are almost graduates!

Finals week begins tomorrow, and Mon - Thursday of this week are Minimum Days, with dismissal at 12:27pm. Good luck to all students on your final exams!

All students are expected to adhere to the cell phone policy in classes this week. If you are seen with a cell phone during the exam, you will risk taking a zero for your test. Leave your cell phones in your lockers!

Students in grades 9 - 11 were given enrollment packets for the 2016-17 school year, and are due on Thursday, June 9th. Enrollment forms are also available on the website, www.pearlmagnet.org.

Graduation practice is mandatory on Thursday, June 9th for all seniors and will begin at 8:00am. Do not be late!

Graduation is on Thursday, June 9th, at 5:00pm, on the Quad at Birmingham High School. Parking will be available in the Victory lot, just west of Balboa. If you are not going to use all of your allotted tickets, please return them when tickets are distributed and DPMHS will hold a raffle Thursday at 1:00pm to hand out extra tickets. All students are eligible for a raffle ticket.

Friday, June 10th is a regular school day for all students. Graduates must return to DPMHS on Friday, June 10th, to pick up their diplomas and return their gowns if they did not purchase them.
