Good Afternoon Sharks, This is Principal Smith with your Weekly Update!

I am so proud of the students who attended the field trip last Friday, May 20, to the Alex Theatre! You all did a fantastic job of following directions, remaining quiet in the theatre, and cleaning up your lunch in the park! Also, thank to all of my chaperones who generously gave of their time to support our trip!

There are 9 days left before Finals week! There are a couple of events coming up this week: Friday, May 27th we will have our last Math Contest at Nutrition! Also on Friday, The DPMHS Art Show at lunch in the MPR. Prom is this coming Saturday, May 28th, at the Wood Ranch Country Club in Simi Valley, starting at 6:30pm and ending at 11:30pm. Looking ahead, Monday, May 30th, is Memorial Day and is a school holiday! Finals week is Monday, June 6th through Wednesday, June 8th. Minimum Days will be June 6th - June 9th with dismissal will be 12:27pm. Friday, June 10th will be a regular day. Graduation is on June 9th, at Birmingham Community Charter HS in the quad.
