Library Hours:

• Tuesday: Before School (7:35 a.m.), Nutrition & Lunch; closed after school.
• Wednesday: Before School (7:35 a.m.) & Nutrition; Lunch Bunch club members only at 12 p.m. and closed after school.
• Thursday: Open all day! (7:35 a.m. to 3:35 p.m.)

Ms. Celi has been a Teacher Librarian at DPMHS since 2011. She currently teaches library media skills and collaborates with teachers on a regular basis. She has previously taught English Language Arts in both middle school and high school. She also performs other functions in our school community:

• Faculty Member, School Site Council
• House Master, Salazar House
• Sponsor, The Literary Lunch Bunch
• Sponsor, Peer Tutoring Club

Ms. Celi received a Masters in Library Information Science and a Bachelors in English and Writing from California State University Northridge. She holds Library Media and English credentials. She is also a member of the following organizations:

• LASLA (Los Angeles School Library Association)
• CSLA (California School Library Association)
• ALA (American Library Association)
• FOCAL (Friends of Children and Libraries)
• CLCSC (Children’s Literature Council of Southern California)
• California Readers, Past President

In addition to her time at DPMHS, she has been a Teacher Librarian at Lawrence Middle School and Columbus Middle School.

Ms. Celi has received Ed Pert Award from California Readers in 2010 and the LASLA Teacher Collaboration Award in 2009.
