Good evening Sharks, this is Principal Smith with your Weekly Update. Parents, please make sure we have your correct phone number of emergency contact and remember to log in to JupiterEd to view your students online grades. Your student received your temporary password from their English teacher. If you need help logging in, stop by or call the school.

The front parking, driveway area continues to be very congested. Please remember to drive safely and with caution! All students are “our kids” and we want everyone to arrive in class safely! Patience is a virtue, so let’s be patient with each other! Also, we are still looking for parent volunteers to help in the lot both in the morning and after school.

Tuesday, September 12th students will bring home their 5 week progress report. Parents, please sign it and students return it to their Period 1 teacher. Tuesday is also a shortened day with dismissal at 1:42pm.

On Thursday, September 14th, Period 5, the LA Times High School Insider will speak with students about contributing their work to their website.

Friday, September 15th is Fiesta Friday! All students will gather at lunch time on the lawn for picnic style lunch, sports, and music!

Perfect Attendance competitions begin this month. Perfect attendance means no absences, no early leaves, and no tardies will earn you a raffle ticket for electronics, games, sports balls, and more!

Looking ahead: Tue., Sept 19th is Smart Track App training - this is a college prep app. The Potluck Mixer is October 5th, 6:30 - 7:30pm!
