Good Evening Sharks, This is Principal Smith with your Weekly Update. Thank you to all of our parents who attended Open House on Thursday, March 23rd! I also want to thank the faculty for putting in the extra attention to having their rooms ready for your visits! Thank you to Sal and Juan for putting in the extra time assisting teachers who had to move classrooms, and for getting additional gardening and janitorial services and Wynter and Lupe for staying to assist in the office.

Monday, March 27th, Mr. Middlebrook is taking some students on a field trip.

Tuesday, March 28th is a regular day with a 3:02 dismissal. The Pierce College Rep will be here to assist students with their applications. AP Exam Payments are due today to Ms. Torres.

Wednesday, March 29th the School Site Council will meet and the main topic is Budget and Categorical funds. All are welcome to attend this important meeting. The meeting begins at 5:30, in the library.

Thursday, March 30th, DPMHS will send 10 basketball players to play in a intramural competition against Valley Academy of Arts and Sciences, Miller CTC, and Adams HS! Go Sharks! The English Department has a Poetry Slam event scheduled as an assembly.

Friday, March 31 is a holiday for Cesar Chavez Day and there is no school.

Looking Ahead:
Science Center, Pixar Exhibit, Field Trip is Monday April 3rd.
Spring Break is April 10-14
