Good evening Sharks, this is Principal Smith with your Weekly Update! Daniel Pearl World Music Day was spectacular on Friday morning, celebrating the life of Daniel Pearl! The student performers, tech crew, and Mr. Hambright offered the best World Music Day ever, and I’m not sure how they will out-do this year! There will be a command performance this Wednesday evening in the MPR at school, at 7:00pm. Seats will be first come, first serve! I want to thank Ms. Jill Spector for her lovely refreshments, including home baked goods, and her gift of time to make such a beautiful presentation of refreshments!

Congratulations to Kanokkorn Chotset in her winning first place in her golf tournament, and congratulations to the girls golf team for coming in 2nd overall!

On Monday, DPMHS will have a costume contest during Nutrition in Courtyard 1 South, and all are welcome to participate. Remember, no masks or replica weapons are allowed. Fiesta Friday will be held at lunch due to World Music Day scheduling last Friday.

Tuesday, Nov. 1, we have a shortened day dismissal, 1:32pm.

On Wednesday, Nov. 2nd, Kadima Music Program will be here to perform for our Freshman students, during 3 and 4th periods.

Thursday, November 3rd, we will be presenting In One Instant, a Distracted Driving Program to all 11th and 12th grade students. The program will begin during 3rd period.

Seniors:
Senior packages are now being sold in the Student Store! See Ms. Erica for pricing! Senior Quotes are due Monday, November 14th.

Looking ahead, Friday, November 11th is Veteran’s Day and is a school holiday!

That’s it for this week, and I’ll see you tomorrow!
