Mark your calendars for the annual PTSA Silent Auction and Open House and Food Truck Night on Thursday, March 19th, with Food Trucks opening for business at 4:00 pm. There will be some awesome packages at the Silent Auction this year, so I know you won’t want to miss it!
I want to take a minute and remind all students that it is the law to follow traffic laws when riding a bicycle to and from school. You must obey all traffic signals, stop signs, and ride with the direction of the traffic. It is also the law that you wear a helmet. Pedestrians are also reminded to look both ways when crossing the street, cross at a marked intersection, and wait for the signal to permit you to cross. Even after the signal changes, wait and look both ways making sure all drivers see you.
If you are a student with driving privileges to and from school, and you park in the school parking lot, you are expected to drive slowly and carefully. You must allow the exiting traffic from the parking lot to take turns from both lanes merging to exit. If you do not drive with caution, your privilege of parking in the school lot will be suspended.
That’s it for tonight everyone! See you tomorrow!
